Silent Hill 2: Sunderland Jacket Review
Arm yourself with Insert Coin Clothing’s Sutherland Jacket for your next visit to Silent Hill. It’ll keep you safe from the fog, but no promises about the inner demons. The jacket is almost an exact replica of that worn in the game, but it doesn’t come across costume-y. The jacket has plenty of military details and is a stylish option for spring/fall weather. It’s $84 USD on Insert Coin Clothing’s website and is available to preorder in small to extra large (Note: Extra large is running low - so get your order in quick!).

The Fabric:
The jacket is made of 100% cotton and is a medium weight, which makes it a great option for transitional weather. I wouldn’t recommend using this as a winter jacket, but you can easily layer it with a sweatshirt to stay warm on cooler days. The great part about the lighter fabric is that you can even roll the sleeves up and create a whole new look.

The Design:
This jacket features some really cool military design elements, like the shoulder tabs and patches, that look very stylish, but still pay homage to the game’s protagonist. Something I’ve noticed about Insert Coin Clothing’s designs is the size. I don’t know if it’s a British thing, but most of their clothing runs very small. I got this jacket in a men’s medium and it was a little snug on my fiancé, who wears a mens medium in American clothing. I’d recommend ordering a size larger so you can layer a sweatshirt or thicker shirt underneath it to really get the most wear out of the jacket in cooler temperatures.

The Features:
This jacket has 4 huge pockets that are perfect for carrying your radio, extra batteries, and ammo. It also has snaps on the front of the coat, which give you the option of quickly opening or closing the jacket.

TL;DR: Great spring/fall jacket that has stylish military accents, but runs on the small size.
